Regulate of Cooperative, Government Issuing the NIK Certificate

The Government through the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs issued the certificate Cooperative Identification Number (NIK) as part of efforts to bring order the cooperatives in Indonesia.

Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs AAGN Puspayoga in the launching of NIK and KUR Certificate at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs said that his side gives the certificate of NIK only to cooperatives active only in the institutional as well as the business.

“Furthermore, the cooperative inactive which amounted to 62 234 units will be removed from our database,” he said in Jakarta, Tuesday (26/5).

The previous day, on Monday, May 25, 2015, Minister KUKM Puspayoga launched the People’s Business Credit (KUR). The Government decided to re-activate the KUR financing by issuing a Presidential Decree (Decree) No. 14 of 2015 on the policy committee of finance for SMEs.

KUR concentrated on micro-enterprises in the agricultural sector, marine fisheries, small industries, and other sectors.

On the decision of coordination meeting at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, decides on interest rates of KUR in 2015 is down and maximum credit limit of Rp 25 million without collateral. KUR channeling bank are BRI, BNI and Bank Mandiri and BPD with NPL criteria when distribution of KUR, before evaluation under 5 percent and online with underwriters.

The target which has been prepared by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs in 2015 concerning the People’s Business Credit (KUR) amounting to Rp 30 trillion were channeled through four bank which has been designated, namely Rp.24 trillion BRI, Bank Mandiri Rp.2,25 trillion, and BNI Rp.1,5 trillion, in addition to a number of BPD will also get allocation of distribution of Rp.2,25 trillion.
