Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia at Groundbreaking Ceremony of BSH Hub Community of the Nusantara Capital (IKN), in North Penajam Paser Regency, North Kalimantan Province, December 21, 2023
Assalamuálaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
Please be upon us all.
Distinguished Minister of State Secretary, Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR)/ Head of the National Land Agency (BPN), Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI), Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Polri), Governor of East Kalimantan, Regent of North Penajam Paser, Chairperson of Nusantara Capital (IKN) Authority;
Distinguished President Commissioner of PT Karya BSH Mandiri, and Boards of Management and Board of Directors, TNI Commander and Polri Chief, and the ranks,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am delighted that the first stone for this construction of BSH Community Hub, which has invested in the IKN, is laid this morning. I truly appreciate it, but I still can’t believe when Pak Haryadi said the company is a Small Medium-sized Enterprise because it has more than 40 branches.
I would also like to tell you that SMEs invested in IKN will be exempted from income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and income tax article 21 in order to stimulate the SMEs’ economy in IKN.
I laud the BSH for building a 3-star hotel and restaurant since there are none 3-star hotels in this area. There are also none restaurants here so I think the BSH has successfully seized the opportunity.
I hope the construction of BSH Community Hub can be completed on target, before July, as mentioned earlier by Pak Haryadi, including hotels and restaurants that can be utilized by the community. I truly appreciate the speedy implementation of the construction.
That concludes my remarks on this auspicious occasion. Hopefully, in the future the BSH Community Hub will become a place for gathering and meeting which will complete the facilities at IKN for all of us.
By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I hereby declare the groundbreaking of BSH Hub Community.
I thank you.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
