Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

Good afternoon,

May peace be upon us all.

This afternoon, we will evaluate the organization of G20 Summit. Rather than an evaluation, it’s more like a moment to express our gratitude.

First, I think in term of event organization, I have no comment since it has been delivered by the others.

Second, in term of content, we have generated the Bali Declaration, which is very important.

Third, regarding concrete output, I think it’s also crucial for us to follow up the agreements through an establishment of a taskforce since there are 226 multilateral projects valued at US$238 billion and 140 bilateral projects valued at US$71.4 billion. We must ensure that all projects, programs, and initiatives are executed in a timely manner.

Fourth, it is concerning acceleration of investment realization. I noticed the B20 Summit in Bali has created positive energy. Therefore, we should ensure that the investment commitments will be realized on the ground.

I learned the Government of the United States of America’s cooperation through Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII) scheme which is valued at US$600 billion. Not to mention the US$20 billion worth of cooperation for electric vehicle development through Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP), how does it work. There are also investment commitments for the Jakarta mass rapid transit (MRT) project from Japan, Britain, and South Korea.  Cooperation with Turkey on construction project of Trans Sumatra Toll Road and other projects, there are many projects. For that reason, task forces need to be established immediately, for instance a task force will be responsible for the USA, and there are other task forces handling the United Arab Emirates, Korea, Japan, China respectively, so we can follow up in details the agreements generated in Bali.

That concludes my remarks. I thank you. (RAS/LW)
