Welcome to the 15th Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle Summit.
Entering its 30th year, IMT-GT is a golden triangle of cooperation for 85 million people across three countries. I am glad that amid the recent global crisis, the IMT-GT trading volume managed to reach US$618 billion in 2021.
In the future, the IMT-GT must be more capable to accelerate economic growth that is inclusive and sustainable amid the tough challenges in the years ahead. We are facing high level of uncertainty and rivalry and the domino effect of global economic turbulence.
Let us spread the spirit of collaboration, especially with increasing competitiveness, connectivity, tourism, and investment, to achieve the IMT GT Vision 2036.
