Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
I welcome Your Excellency Prime Minister of the State of Palestine Shtayyeh to Jakarta, and I am glad to meet you again after our last meeting in Glasgow.
Palestine is a close friend of Indonesia; Palestine was one of the first countries to recognize the independence of Indonesia. Indonesia consistently continues to support the struggle of the Palestinian people, and I hope Your Excellency’s visit can further strengthen this good relation.
I invite His Excellency to convey the welcoming remarks.
