Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) Office Building in the Nusantara Capital Area, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, January 17, 2024

Peace be upon us all.

Ladies and gentlemen,

Today, we once again hold the ceremony for the groundbreaking of the construction of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) office building, which includes the main building, a data center building, and infrastructure for the area with a capacity of 600 people in the first phase. The OIKN office building is being constructed on approximately 28 thousand square meters of land with a construction value of Rp509 billion, and this building will be the workplace for OIKN employees, equipped with a one-stop integrated service. The OIKN office will also be equipped with a data center and command center, as well as an urban gallery, to provide real-time services to the community and deliver faster and more professional services.

I hope that the OIKN office building can be completed soon, and all OIKN activities become more organized, centralized, and optimal, allowing employees to work more comfortably and productively to support the development of the IKN and realize the Nusantara Capital that we aspire to.
