Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Inauguration of Seven Road Sections in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), January 30, 2024

Today, we are inaugurating roads in the Special Region of Yogyakarta that have been handled through the Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads (Inpres Jalan Daerah), involving seven road sections and one bridge with a budget of Rp162 billion: one section in Kulon Progo regency, two sections in Gunung Kidul regency, two sections in Bantul regency, and two sections in Sleman regency. I hope that these roads can be utilized by the community to enhance mobility and drive regional economic development and equality.

That concludes my remarks. And by saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I hereby inaugurate the seven road sections under the Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads [Presidential Instruction Number 3 of 2023] in the Special Region of Yogyakarta this evening.
