Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Inauguration of the Implementation of Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads in West Kalimantan, in Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan Province, March 20, 2024

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatulllahi wabarakaatuh.

Good afternoon, may peace be upon us all.
Distinguished Chairperson of Commission V of the House of Representatives;
Distinguished Ministers of the Indonesia Onward Cabinet;
Distinguished Acting Governor of West Kalimantan and Regent of Mempawah; Ladies and Gentlemen.

Today, we would like to inaugurate 24 road sections in West Kalimantan province spanning 165 kilometers, spending a budget of Rp648 billion, one of which is this road. We expect that in 2023, the project had completed then in 2024 there will be other projects. It is our hope that all damaged roads can be fixed, so the mobility of people and goods as well as logistics mobility through these roads can be improved and it will make price of products more affordable and competitive.

That concludes my speech on this auspicious occasion. By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, hereby I officiate the Implementation of Presidential Instructions on Regional Roads in West Kalimantan province.
