Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Inauguration of Wae Mese II Drinking Water Supply System, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, July 22, 2022

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh.
May peace be upon us all.

Today, after inaugurating a number of facilities in Labuan Bajo, besides the arrangement of (tourism) area, arrangement of residence, arrangement of Marina-Labuan Bajo, expansion of airport, arrangement of Rinca island, and arrangement of waste management system, this morning I inaugurate Wae Mese II Drinking Water Supply System. It means that the arrangement of Labuan Bajo area must be done in an integrated manner including the availability of water, electricity, the arrangement of the area, once again all must be done in an integrated manner so that people’s needs can be fulfilled. I noticed that there is an increase in investment in hospitality industry as there are many hotels now at Labuan Bajo.

By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I hereby inaugurate Wae Mese II Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM).
