Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

His Excellency Palestinian Ambassador to Indonesia Zuhair Al-Shun,

Distinguished Ministers, Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces, Chief of the Indonesian National Police,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Alhamdulillah, today we can send off again the humanitarian aid for our bothers and sisters in Gaza using two aircrafts that will carry 21 tons of humanitarian aids, including medicines, medical equipment, food, and other assistances needed for people in Gaza.

The aid sourced from the Government is Rp31.9 billion. The other are sourced from our people, the National Alms Agency (Baznas), private sectors including the beauty company PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, non-government organizations including the Indonesian Humanitarian Alliance, crowdfunding platform Kitabisa, WeCare, and many more. Like we have done before on the first batch, the humanitarian aid will be sent off through El Arish airport in Egypt to Gaza.

In addition to the humanitarian aid, Indonesia will continue to provide political support for Palestine. As one of special envoys of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Indonesian Minister for Foreign Affairs is currently coordinating with several countries to support [Palestine] in order to stop war in Gaza, to achieve an immediate ceasefire, so that the humanitarian aid can roll to Gaza.

Once again, I reiterate that Indonesia will continue to support Palestinian cause.

That concludes my speech on this auspicious occasion.

I thank you.

Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
