Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Tree-Planting Movement Event at JIEP City Forest in Pulo Gadung Industrial Estate, East Jakarta, Jakarta, November 29, 2023

Good morning.
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

I’d like to convey my highest gratitude to all members of communities and especially to the Provincial Government of Special Capital Region of Jakarta as well as all administrations in the Greater Jakarta and all participating companies. This is done with the aim of mitigating climate change, mitigating global warming that we all have vividly felt, and dealing with pollution in the Greater Jakarta area.

Once again, I’d like to thank you for this morning’s activity, the tree-planting event. I can see that the trees are big in size, there are blackboard trees, monkey pod trees, caqui trees, and crepe myrtle trees. We have planted all these trees together.
