Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia During Inspection of Mass COVID-19 Vaccination on 19 March 2021 at Puri Begawan in Bogor City, West Java Province

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

I just inspected the vaccination process, from registration, then screening, then vaccine injection, and then observation. Everything went well.

And today in Bogor city, approximately 500 public service workers, hajj pilgrims, religious leaders, public figures, all of them will be vaccinated here.

 We hope it will accelerate the national vaccination process because yesterday in Makassar city (and) in Tana Toraja regency, everything was carried out. And today in Bogor city, mass vaccination is also carried out here and in other places.

We hope that with more people who have been vaccinated, herd immunity will be formed and we hope it can curb COVID-19 transmission rate in our country.
