Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia during Nusantara Appreciation Night, in Nusantara Capital (IKN), North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, September 22, 2023

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,

First of all, I would like to convey my gratitude to all surrounding communities of the Nusantara Capital who have given full support for the Nusantara Capital construction.

Secondly, I would also convey my gratitude to all workers attending on this night, working day and night. I know, day and night, in order to immediately finish and establish our Nusantara Capital.  This is a huge project. This construction is a very huge project. And we hope that we can perform the 17 August ceremony, Independence Day ceremony in Nusantara Capital. Do you agree? Do you agree? Do you agree?

Yesterday, I have conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for hotel construction here, a five-star hotel. This morning, a groundbreaking ceremony has been conducted for a large hospital construction in Nusantara Capital. This morning, a groundbreaking ceremony has been conducted for the training center of Indonesia’s national football team construction which includes eight football fields. Imagine, there will be eight football fields. Tomorrow, there will be a groundbreaking for another hotel construction.  Ladies and Gentlemen, all communities and workers, once again, I would like to extend my appreciation for your blessings.

Lastly, on the Road Map to Golden Indonesia book that have been given by Mr Arsyad, Chairperson of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce to the government.  It will be used as reference to plan the road map to an advanced Indonesia in 2045, the Golden Indonesia in 2045.  Those who will enjoy it are the young generation, This, This, This, This, This, This.  Who wants a bicycle? I, I, I do not bring any bicycle.

I think I conclude my remarks this evening. Once again, Mr. Arsyad, thank you for the suggestion on the Road Map to Golden Indonesia 2045. Hopefully, what we have been planned, the road map to golden Indonesia 2045, insyaallah, can be a realization.
