May peace be upon us.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Jakarta Fair is well known among residents in Jakarta. The event is always anticipated by the people every year and it also marks the anniversary of Jakarta on June 22, which will fall on next week.
This year, the largest, the longest, and the most extensive exhibition in Southeast Asia is back and is entering its 54th edition, meaning that it has surpassed half a century.
Last year, it saw 6.9 million visitors with transactions of Rp7.3 trillion. A figure that is certainly not small. Therefore, on this auspicious occasion, I would like to wish Jakarta a happy 496th anniversary.
And, by saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I hereby open the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2023 tonight.
