Om swastiastu,

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

Namo Buddhaya,

Greetings of Virtue,

Rahayu rahayu,

May peace and prosperity be upon us all,

Shalom,

Salve.

My distinguished Hindu brothers and sisters throughout Indonesia and wherever you are,

As people of faith, let us continually express our deepest gratitude to Allah the Almighty, Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. By His blessings and grace, we are able to commemorate the 2026 Dharma Santi, marking the Saka new year 1948 in good health and in a spirit of enthusiasm, unity, and peace.

On this auspicious occasion, I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, on behalf of myself and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, extend my sincere congratulations on the celebration of Dharma Santi 2026 to all Hindus throughout the country.

On this occasion, I would like to extend my sincere apologies to all the people in Bali and the entire Balinese community for being unable to attend the 2026 National Dharma Santi celebration, marking the Saka New Year 1948, in person.

Dharma Santi serves as a meaningful occasion to foster mutual forgiveness, strengthen brotherhood, and reinforce the values of dharma in our daily lives. Following Nyepi, we move forward together in a spirit of harmony, peace, and unity. The principle of Tat Twam Asi – living with respect and balance – constitutes a viral strength of our nation.

We are a great nation that thrives in harmony amid diversity. We are a people who uphold tolerance and respect for differences – distinct, yet united as one. We embrace the values of mutual cooperation, collaboration, and solidarity, fostering a spirit of care and compassion for one another. I am confident that the Hindus in Indonesia have been, and will continue to be, an integral part of preserving social harmony and national unity, while contributing to the realization of  a just, prosperous, and independent Indonesia.

For Hindus, let us continue to uphold and practice the principles of Tri Hita Karana, nurturing relationships with fellow human beings, with nature, and with God. Let us preserve our spirit of togetherness, strengthen national unity, and work collectively toward building a just and prosperous Indonesia.

Thank you.

Om santi santi santi om,

Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
