The Ninth Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Bapak Dr. H. Hamzah Haz,
The Eleventh Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Bapak Prof. Dr. Boediono;
Chairperson of the People’s Consultative Assembly, Chairperson of the House of Representatives, Chairperson of Regional Representatives, Chief of Supreme Court, Chief of Constitutional Court, Chief of Judicial Commission, Chairman of the Audit Board, dan Ministers of Indonesia Onward Cabinet, Excellencies foreign Ambassadors,

Participants, all Indonesian People whom I love and am proud of,
Alhamdulillah, praise to God, amidst the global crisis, Indonesia is one of few countries which has successfully maintained economic, social, and political stability, controlled inflation, kept its economic growth, and created more jobs. These are the nation’s contribution.
With unity, hardworking, and mutual cooperation, we are successful in overcoming challenges and earning more global trust. The foundation of those achievements is Pancasila, which was inherited by the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Soekarno. Pancasila is the ideology we should uphold to strengthen national progress.
Nowadays, we continue to struggle to create fair and equitable development. Continuity and sustainability are essential. Government personnel may change, but the struggle continues. We want to create fairness, equity, and prosperity through structural reforms, improvement of human resources quality, downstream industry, and building of the Nusantara Capital. We want people outside Java Island to take significant benefits from the existing development.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
My Fellow Countrymen,
As a huge country, Indonesia must be on par with other nations. We are ready to work together, to lead. We want to work together, to collaborate with any countries, and to become a meeting point and a bridge of global diversity. This is Indonesia. Indonesia is Indonesia which cannot be directed by anyone and any countries. However, Indonesia always stands ready to contribute to the world. The Pancasila ideology has made Indonesia’s leadership accepted and recognized worldwide. Indonesia’s G20 Presidency was a success. Indonesia’s ASEAN Chairmanship this year is conclusive evidence that Pancasila is not only primarily for Indonesia, but also relevant to the world.
My Fellow Countrymen,
Tolerance, unity, and mutual cooperation are key to build a strong nation. Therefore, I encourage all of us to reject extremism, identity politization, and religion politization. Let’s welcome our democratic fiesta of the 2024 General Election with maturity and joy and by upholding Pancasila values, fighting for advanced, just, and prosperous Indonesia, as well as leading Indonesia to be prestigious in the world.
