I would like to thank you for the visit, President Samia. It reflects that the relations between our countries Tanzania and Indonesia are getting stronger.
First and foremost, allow me to extend my condolences to the people in Tanzania who have been affected by floods and landslides at Hanang district last December. It is our hope that affected community can recover soon.
Your Excellency,
To strengthen South-South Cooperation, especially economic cooperation, Indonesia will hold the second Indonesia-Africa Forum. It is our fervent hope that Tanzania can participate. And today, we will expand our cooperation in various sectors. I am sure this will bring benefits to our people, Indonesia and Tanzania.
Now, I’d like to invite you, Your Excellency, to deliver your opening remarks.

President Widodo, I wish to express my profound gratitude to you, Mr. President, and through you, to the Government and the people of the Republic of Indonesia for the warm reception and great hospitality extended to us.
I thank you, Mr. President, for extending the invitation to me to visit your beautiful country, months after your successful visit to Tanzania in August 2023. It is my sincere belief that this visit will afford us another opportunity to expand further this cooperation and collaboration for the mutual benefit of our two countries and people.
