The replacement for former Deputy Chairperson of the anti-graft body Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Lili Pintauli Siregar is still in process, according to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.

The statement came in response to a question from journalists about the matter during the President’s visit to the Indonesian Center for Rice Research (BBPadi) in Subang regency, West Java province, Tuesday (12/07).

“It is still in process. The replacement for Lili Pintauli is still in process. We just received her resignation letter and I signed [the Presidential Decree] last week,” the President said, adding that candidates to replace Lili Pintauli would be submitted to the House of Representatives (DPR RI).  (FID/AIT/UN) (AS/EP)
