Resilient Indonesia Team to Raise National Flag During Independence Day Ceremony at Merdeka Palace

Indonesia has put the Resilient Indonesia flag-hoisting troop in charge of raising the national flag during the Independence Day Ceremony on 17 August 2021, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

Ardelia Muthia Zahwa, a representative from North Sumatra province, is chosen as the flag-bearer during the ceremony.

Three other students who are tasked with raising the flag are Aditya Yogi Susanto (The commander of Group 8, a representative from Gorontalo province), Dika Ambiya Rahman (a representative from West Java province, and Ridho Hadfizar Armadhani (a representative from Lampung province).

For the record, Colonel (Pnb.) Putu Sucahyadi is appointed as the Commander of the Ceremony while Captain Inf. Suryadi Nataatmaja is appointed as the Company Commander of the flag-hoisting troop. Meanwhile, Brigadier General Novi Helmy Prasetya is appointed as the Ceremonial Officer.

The 2021 national flag-hoisting troop whose members are representatives of each province in Indonesia was previously inaugurated by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Thursday (12/08), at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta. These 68 youths have said their Pledge of Putra Indonesia(BPMI /UN) (FI/LW)
