President Prabowo Subianto Tuesday (10/06) witnessed the handover of administrative fines, recovered state funds, and reclaimed forest areas under the initiative’s eight phase at the Attorney General’s Office complex, Jakarta.

On that occasion, the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH) reported that the Government had collected Rp13,241,335,681,910.13 in state revenue.

In addition to collecting state revenue, Satgas PKH reported progress in reclaiming forest areas. Since its establishment in February 2025, the task force has reclaimed 6,206,212.14 hectares from the palm oil plantation sector and 14,633.79 hectares from the mining sector.

During the eighth phase, Satgas PKH handed over 259,230.73 hectares of the reclaimed forest area to the relevant ministries and agencies.

The Attorney General’s Office handed over the collected administrative fines and recovered state funds to the Ministry of Finance. It then handed over the forest areas reclaimed during the eighth phase to the Ministry of Forestry.

In his remarks, President Prabowo Subianto underscored the tangible results of Satgas PKH’s collaborative efforts to safeguard state assets. By the end of the eighth phase, these efforts had recovered approximately Rp52 trillion in state funds.

“Today, we once again witness the tangible results of the hard work of the PKH Task Force, which brings together 12 institutions mentioned earlier to recover and safeguard state assets. This is the eighth such handover, bringing the total funds recovered over the past two years to approximately Rp52 trillion, or around US$3 billion,” the President stated.

Echoing the President’s remarks, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin said the PKH Task Force’s achievements demonstrate the Government’s commitment to safeguarding the country’s natural wealth and upholding the law. According to him, these measures are also part of efforts to ensure that state resources ultimately benefit the public.

“For us, this achievement demonstrates the state’s role in safeguarding the nation’s natural wealth, upholding the rule of the law, and ensuring that state-owned resources deliver the greatest possible benefit for the people’s prosperity,” the Attorney General said.

For the record, efforts to regulate forest areas and recover state funds will continue as part of the Government’s work to improve the management of state assets.

The Government remains committed to ensuring that natural resources under state control deliver the greatest possible benefits to the people. These measures are expected to help recovered state assets support national development and improve people’s welfare. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (SA/MEP)
