Starting from October, PeduliLindungi Features to be Embedded in Other Apps

Starting from October, features in PeduliLindungi application will be accessible for other applications. Chief of Digital Transformation Office of Ministry of Health Setiaji said that at this moment, Ministry of Health has coordinated with some digital platforms, such as Gojek, Grab, Tokopedia, Traveloka, Tiket, Dana, Cinema XXI, Link Aja, and Jaki that belongs to the Regional Government of DKI Jakarta province. Soon, people can access PeduliLindungi features in those platforms.

“This will be launched in October. We need some application models that can be accessed by everyone. So, some applications that are widely accessed are Gojek, Grab, Tokopedia, and so on. They can be used to access features in PeduliLindungi,” Setiaji explained, as quoted from the website of Ministry of Health on Monday (27/09).

Regarding people who do not have smartphones and intend to travel by air transportation or train, Setiaji added that their personal data concerning PCR and antigen swab test results and vaccine certificates can be identified through their ID number when they buy tickets.

“We have applied this method at the airport, and even the airline tickets are already integrated. The data of train passengers concerning vaccine certificates as well as PCR or antigen swab test results can also be identified when they order train tickets. So, without smartphone, we still can identify it,” he stated.

Meanwhile, in some places that are not integrated yet with PeduliLindungi application, people can check their status in the app by typing their ID number to find out whether they can enter the site or not. “In PeduliLindungi, there is already a feature for self-checking. So, before they go to the site, they can check themselves,” he said.

Moreover, PeduliLindungi application is related to many things concerning COVID-19 controlling, such as test results, close contact tracing, telemedicine, and free medicine service. This application will also be integrated with quarantine system. (PR of Ministry of Health/UN) (AW/MMB)
