State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry Evaluates Implementation of SAKIP, RB in Cabinet Secretariat
The Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform evaluated the implementation of the Accountability System of Government Institution Performances (SAKIP) and Bureaucratic Reform (RB) in the Cabinet Secretariat. The evaluation is conducted through an entry meeting and internal survey, as well as field verification in the Cabinet Secretariat.
Deputy Cabinet Secretary for the Administrative Affairs, Farid Utomo, said the implementation and evaluation was an integral part, because there would never be a good or perfect thing if it was just the implementation. “Similarly, when it comes to the evaluation, there will never be an evaluation if there is no implementation,” Deputy Farid said when giving a speech at the entry meeting, Monday (6/11) morning.
Deputy Farid reiterated that in the 2016 SAKIP evaluation, Cabinet Secretariat scored 75.23 with Category B. Indeed, it is our hope to be even better in this years evaluation.
According to Deputy Farid, Cabinet Secretariat has made several concrete steps to improve the implementation of bureaucratic reform in 8 areas, among others, change management, improved legislation, strengthened organization, improved human resources management system, strengthened accountability, strengthened supervision, and improved quality of public services.
Attending the meeting were Evaluator Team from the Ministry State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, Expert Staff of Cabinet Secretary for Bureaucratic Reform Raso, Head of Accountability and Bureaucratic Reform Bureau of the Cabinet Secretariat Yuly Kristina, Officials of Echelon 2, 3, and 4, and Staff at the Cabinet Secretariat.
