This afternoon, I am once again in Papua to watch firsthand these competitions at the end of National Paralympic Games. Alhamdulillah, I could watch two judo competitions.
Since the National Paralympic Games has been running smoothly, I’d like to congratulate Papua, firstly, for successfully organizing the National Sports Week, and secondly, for successfully organizing the National Paralympic Games. And in the National Paralympic Games, Papua Province has made it to the first place. Congratulations!

Good afternoon fellow media journalists.
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Angkie Yudistia, Special Staff for the President. Today, it is such an honor for me to represent Bapak President in delivering statement to the fellow media journalists.
Today, Bapak President is in Jayapura to give his support to fellow athletes with disabilities from all Indonesian contingents. Also, Bapak President always reminds athletes from all Indonesian contingents to improve their potentials, because the 16th National Paralympic Games (Peparnas XVI) is an event for athletes with disabilities to show their talents and potentials that make Indonesian people proud.
Bapak President is here in Jayapura today to officially close Peparnas XVI in which the opening ceremony was attended by Bapak Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, and to support the Peparnas athletes who have been competing within these weeks.

We have witnessed that today Bapak President was watching a judo competition between two visually impaired athletes, and it proves that athletes with disabilities are able to compete and show their potentials just like athletes in general.
Bapak President is very proud of all athletes with disabilities whose potentials should be kept improving to later represent Indonesia at the international stage. Therefore, Bapak President wishes all the athletes many successes in the future.
Additionally, Bapak President would like to extend his appreciation and gratitude to all officials, athletes, coaches, and those who support. The Central Government and regional governments have created a tremendous synergy to organize the 16th Peparnas.
I conclude my statement. Hopefully, tonight’s event will be running smoothly. Let us pray for that. Thank you.
