Assalaamu’alaikum warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuh,

Yes, Pak. Let us report to you that for vaccination rate in Tomohon, the first vaccination is at 90.4 percent.

President of the Republic of Indonesia (Joko Widodo)

Oh excellent, excellent.

Representative of Tomohon City

Thank you, Pak, and the second vaccination is at 77 percent.

President of the Republic of Indonesia (Joko Widodo)

Oh good, good.

And the third vaccination is at 8.7 percent.

Representative of Tomohon City

Thank you, Pak.

President of the Republic of Indonesia (Joko Widodo)

Okay. I am very happy I can visit the mass vaccination in North Sulawesi province this afternoon. And I suppose [the rate of] Tomohon city for the first, second, and third [vaccination] is already good and I hope other cities and regencies can follow suit. If possible, all regions should have achieved more than 70 [percent], that would be great. Tomohon, thank you.

Representative of Tomohon City

Thank you, Pak.

President of the Republic of Indonesia (Joko Widodo)

Please, Minahasa regency.

Representative of Minahasa Regency

Yes, Bapak President. Let us report the vaccination acceleration in Minahasa region. Allow me, Bapak President. Before reporting, we Minahasan people will greet Bapak President.

-Vaccination participants greeted the President-

Let us report to you Bapak President that the vaccination rate is 84.48 percent, while the second vaccination rate is at 62.5 percent. That is all, Bapak President.

President of the Republic of Indonesia (Joko Widodo)

Okay. Great, it is already high. What was the first? 88 [percent]? Great. Do continue the first, the second, and then the third [vaccination]. Do prioritize senior citizens.

We hope that with a high rate of first vaccination and second vaccination, strengthened by booster jabs, we can reduce and curb the number of individuals exposed to COVID-19. Albeit infected, those who have received the second jab, especially the third jab, usually show no sympotms or only mild symptoms. This is based on actual experiences. Thank you, Minahasa, thank you.

Manado city, please. Manado, please.

Representative of Manado City

Good afternoon, Pak President. We from Manado city report that we have achieved 122 percent for the first vaccination.

President of the Republic of Indonesia (Joko Widodo)

One hundred and twenty-two percent?

We have administered 108 percent or 780 jabs in Manado city.

President of the Republic of Indonesia (Joko Widodo)

Thank you.

Representative of Manado City

That is all, Pak President.

President of the Republic of Indonesia (Joko Widodo)

Thank you. Excellent. Manado city’s first vaccination rate is—how much was it? Around 120 [percent], then the second, I suppose we should boost it for senior citizens, then the third jab. I will not give many comments because it is already very high. Thank you, Manado city, thank you.
