Yes, I’ve just received a report from our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Retno, who was present at the open debate held by the UN (United Nations) Security Council that discussed the Gaza issue.

Before leaving for New York, I’ve told the Minister of Foreign Affairs to consistently voice Indonesia’s strong support for the struggle of Palestinian people. This must be expressed firmly.

And, I strongly oppose Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s statement regarding non-existent future for a two-state solution. This statement is completely unacceptable.

And, I also strongly condemn Israel’s attack on the Khan Younis refugee camp in Gaza that had claimed lives and injuries. The list of violations against international law committed by Israel is too long.

And, with regard to issues concerning Israeli ships that emerged some time ago, I want to emphasize that ports in Indonesia will not be used to serve Israel’s interests. That’s non-negotiable.
