President of the Republic of Indonesia (Joko Widodo)
So, we want to plant “genjah” coconut at a national scale, and later we can harvest the coconuts in two and a half years or even three years. In a year, it is estimated that a coconut tree can produce about 140-180 coconuts. So, if we plant one million trees nationwide, we can just multiply the number.

However, the most important thing is preparing the industrialization after the cultivation, because the coconuts can be processed into brown sugar and also coconut oil. So, the industrialization must be prepared here in every village that has a large number of “genjah” coconut trees. So, firstly, people will get extra income; secondly, vacant plots of land, yards, farming lands, and others can be planted with “genjah” coconut trees.

In Sukoharjo regency, we will plant 110 thousand “genjah” coconut trees, and then 44 thousand in Boyolali regency, 46 thousand in Karanganyar regency, and other provinces will follow suit.
