Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

This morning, my limited entourage and I will visit a number of countries for international working visit.

The first country is Germany. I will attend G7 Summit considering Indonesia is a partner country of G7 and Indonesia was also invited to attend G7 Summit as the Chair of G20. During the summit, the Government will encourage, call on G7 member countries to seek peace in Ukraine and immediately find solutions in facing global food, energy crises. Indeed, these efforts are not easy to carry out, but we, Indonesia, have to continue to try.

After visiting Germany, I will visit Ukraine and meet President Zelenskyy. Our mission aims to call on Ukrainian President, President Zelenskyy to give room for dialogue to seek peace, build peace because war must be stopped and global food supply must be reactivated.

From Ukraine, I will head to Russia to meet President Vladimir Putin. Once again, under the same mission, I will call on President Putin to give room for dialogue and immediately carry out cease-fire and stop the war.

On the last destination, I will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to follow-up issues on economic partnership and investment between Indonesia and the UAE.

The international working visit is not only for Indonesia’s interest, but also for that of other developing countries in order to prevent peoples in developing countries and peoples with low-income from living in extreme poverty and experiencing hunger. During the Presidential working visit, the Government will be led by Vice President Ma’ruf Amin.

That concludes my speech on this auspicious occasion.

I thank you.

Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
