Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of Creative Economy Agency deliver a press statement, at the Lotte Hotel, Seoul, (17/5)

Following President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo’s working visit to South Korea, Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi and Head of Creative Economy Agency Triawan Munaf on Tuesday (17/5) delivered a press statement on the results of the visit. According to the Minister, President Jokowi received warm welcome both from the Government and private sectors of South Korea. She also said that the Government of South Korea is willing to promote economic cooperation with Indonesia.

Echoing the same sentiment, Head of the Creative Economy Agency Triawan Munaf said, “South Korea is one of Indonesia’s main partners. Indonesia wants to embark two new priorities, namely the acceleration in the industry and creative industry.” He added that both President Jokowi and President Park have discussed cooperation on the creative industry sector during the ASEAN – Republic of Korea Summit in December 2014(AG/EN) (RAS/EP/YM/Naster)
