INASGOC Deputy for Administration, Francis Wanadi, in a press conference at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Monday (27/8) stated that ticket sales for the 2018 Asian Games Closing Ceremony will begin on Tuesday (28/8). There are 55,000-58,000 tickets available with price ranging from Rp500,000 to Rp2,000,000.

For the record, the closing ceremony of 2018 Asian Games will be held on Monday (2/9) at Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex, Jakarta.

In the meantime, the Creative Director of INASGOC Wishnutama said that the concept of the closing ceremony is very different from the concept of the colossal opening ceremony; the theme of the closing ceremony is celebration.

“The Celebration is dedicated to the athletes as well as to show the appreciation for those who have competed in the 2018 Asian Games,” Wishnutama said.

Wishnutama further said that the stage for the opening ceremony was constructed in four months while the time available for constructing the stage for closing ceremony is only one day because the stadium is still going to be used for athletics games. The dancers involved in the closing ceremony, Wishnutama added, are also fewer than those of involved in the opening ceremony.

“The theme of the ceremony is to celebrate and appreciate the togetherness of Asian Nations” Wishnutama further said, adding that the closing ceremony will show performances from Korea, India and China, the next Asian Games host.

The performers in the closing ceremony, according to Wishnutama, are drum band from the Indonesian National Defense Forces and the Indonesian National Police, Isyana Sarasvati, Lea Simanjuntak and BAMS, Denada, iKon from Korea, Siti Badriah, Wingki Wiryawan and Jevin, BCL, Jflow, Dira Sugandi, Super Junior, and Indian singer.
