To be Annouced Thursday, Economic Policy Package Phase III on Land Sector Licenses
The Government plans to announce the Economic Policy Package Phase III on Thursday (8/10). Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung explained that the economic package is about the anticipation of the Government not only to make the business world friendlier, but also to protect business, like the previous one that was related to Smallholder Business Credit (KUR).
“The thing to immediately announce Thursday, will be about the ease of licensing in land and agrarian sectors, the sectors that were been very complicated will be simplified,” said Pramono Anung to reporters after attending a limited cabinet meeting at the office of the President , Jakarta, Monday (5/10) afternoon.
According to the Cabinet Secretary, the number is now being calculated, it is expected to be significant for the completion of the licensing process. However, the Cabinet Secretary reminded that there are a variety of licensing processes, there are Cultivation Rights (Hak Guna Usaha (HGU)), regional licensing process, etc., which will actually be required to be significantly encouraged.
Furthermore, according to the Cabinet Secretary, in the near future time, President Joko Widodo will call together the regional heads, regents, mayors, governors, so that they actually give positive anticipation to what is done by the central Government, related to a fundamental change in licensing.
