UEA Visit: President Jokowi Meets with Armenian President, Softbank CEO

On the second day of his state visit in United Arab Emirates, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo is slated to attend the bilateral meeting with President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian at Abu Dhabi, Monday (13/1).

According to Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut B. Pandjaitan, President Jokowi will also attend the meeting with Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son on the same day.

The state visit will be concluded with the attendee of the President as the keynote speaker on Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week in the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).

Furthermore, President Jokowi is scheduled to leave for Jakarta later in the afternoon and will be arrived approximately on Tuesday early morning at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.

Also accompanied President Jokowi on the visit were, among others, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, and Indonesian Ambassador to United Arab Emirates Husin Bagis. (EN/ES)
