In his address at the main event of the 2025 National Christmas Celebration, President Prabowo, on Monday (01/05), emphasizes that unity and collaborative efforts are fundamental conditions for ensuring that Indonesia’s wealth is responsibly managed and shared for the benefit of the people.

President Prabowo Subianto underscored that unity and collaborative efforts are essential for ensuring Indonesia’s wealth can be responsibly managed and shared for the benefit of the people.

“Let’s not take pride in words about being rich, producing this, owning that. Don’t. We must strive so our wealth is truly enjoyed by the people of Indonesia. We must alleviate poverty from our land, Indonesia. We must eliminate hunger from our land, Indonesia,” President Prabowo said at the main event of the 2025 National Christmas Celebration, held at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday (01/05).

The President stated that the principles of living in harmony and supporting one another are not only rooted in religious values, but are also in line with global geopolitical analysis. According to the President, leading geopolitical experts recognize Indonesia as an extraordinarily wealthy nation with immense potential to become one of the richest countries in the world.

“Global geopolitical experts view Indonesia as remarkable, very rich. Now, the challenge is how we protect and manage this wealth so that it can be shared by all the people. This is something we must acknowledge,” the President added.

On that occasion, the President also revealed that various international studies state Indonesia has the potential to become the fourth richest country in the world. However, he highlighted that this potential can only be realized under one fundamental condition, namely national unity and collaborative efforts among the country’s elites.

“I always wish to invite everyone, regardless of our differences, regardless of whatever past mistakes we may have, because we are human and therefore imperfect, to collaborate, to stand united, to support one another. The strong must lift up the weak, and the weak must come together to cooperate. Compete fairly, but once the contest is over, we unite. Unite,” the President said.

Through this celebration, the President expressed hope that the values of brotherhood, unity, and mutual cooperation will continue to serve as the foundation for building Indonesia. He reaffirmed that through togetherness and the collective efforts of all segments of society, Indonesia can realize its aspiration to become an advanced, sovereign, and prosperous nation for all the people.
