Use Asian Games Budget Effectively and Efficiently, President Jokowi Says
Despite limited time for preparation, President Joko Jokowi Widodo emphasized that budget use for the 2018 Asian Games and Asian Para Games must be based on the principles of effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
We have to calculate the budget in detail. And I would like to remind you that the budget must be used proportionally, the President firmly said in his introductory remarks before a Limited Cabinet Meeting on the Development of the Budget Use for the Asian Games XVIII and Asian Para Games at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, Wednesday (7/6).
The President also hopes that everything is done openly, transparently, and accountably and said that the Asian Games and the Asian Para Games is an international event that involves many countries; thus, its success can bring a good reputation for Indonesia in the international world.
