Vice President Ma’ruf Amin Kicks Off Aceh Working Visit

Vice President Ma’ruf Amin Wednesday (04/13) headed to Aceh province for a working visit following his working visit to Bukittinggi city in West Sumatra province.
The VP is set to inaugurate the 52nd National Quran Recitation Week of the state-run broadcaster Radio of the Republic of Indonesia (RRI) in Takengon, Central Aceh regency.
In Takengon, the VP is also scheduled to give cash assistance to street vendors, warung (traditional retail store) vendors, and fishers at the ground of Aceh Tengah Regent’s Office.
In the evening, the VP will join the people of Aceh to perform tarawih prayer, a prayer Muslims perform only in the fasting month of Ramadan, at Baiturrahman Grand Mosque in Aceh provincial capital of Banda Aceh.
On Thursday (04/14) the VP, along with his spouse Ibu Wury and Governor of Aceh, is slated to visit Darussa’adah Social Rehabilitation Center for Children in Need of Special Protection (LRSAMPK) in Tingkem village, Great Aceh regency where the VP will not only inspect the place but also give direct cash assistance (BLT), Family Hope Program (PKH) assistance, assistance for children orphaned by COVID-19, and assistance for people with disabilities.
