VP Inaugurates 2026 National Flag-Hoisting Troop Representing All 38 Provinces

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka Saturday (08/15) at the State Palace, Jakarta, inaugurated seventy-six members of the 2026 National Flag-Hoisting Troop (Paskibraka), representing all 38 Indonesian provinces.

They were assigned to serve at the flag-raising ceremony commemorating the 81^st Anniversary of Indonesia’s independence at the Merdeka Palace on August 17, 2026.

During inauguration ceremony, the Vice President served as the ceremony inspector, while Julita Rista Lestari of East Kalimantan province served as the ceremony leader.

The proceedings opened with the national anthem “Indonesia Raya,” followed by the ceremony leader’s report to the ceremony inspector.

Afterwards, Julita and the other members of the Pakibraka team recited their pledge, led by Head of the Agency for the Implementation of the State Ideology of Pancasila (BPIP) Yudian Wahyudi. The ceremony continued with the Vice President reading the inauguration statement.

“By the grace of Allah, the Almighty God, I hereby inaugurate the 2026 national flag-hoisting team, who will serve at the Merdeka Palace on August 17, 2026. May Almighty God grant you His grace and ease in performing this duty for the nation,” he said.

On that occasion, the Vice President symbolically pinned an insignia on the ceremony leader, marking the official inauguration of the 2026 Paskibraka team.

The 76 members who represent the country’s 38 provinces are as follows:

1. Aceh province: Muhammad Hibban Annafis and Zilqueensa Abintary Laudicia Simatupang;
2. North Sumatra province: Gussa Oliver Nainggolan and Felesia Rismaito Munthe;
3. West Sumatra province: Ahmad Alfatih and Ulya Kireina Halim;
4. Riau province: Rizqy Aditya Siregar and Arifa Rahma Maulydha;
5. Jambi province: Achmad Fachri Mubarok and Rizkia Putri;
6. South Sumatra province: Muhammad Ikhsan Nugroho and Khalyana Zahira Sandi;
7. Bengkulu province: M. Aryo Wira Zandhyka Y. and Nadine Permata Vanza;
8. Lampung province: Naufal Ghaly Oktora and Chika Azahra Salsabila;
9. Bangka Belitung Islands province: Muhammad Furqoen Nul Hakim and Fira Haniyah;
10. Riau Islands province: Muhammad Salman Farisi and Raudah Mabrura;
11. Special Capital Region of Jakarta: Muazzam Saqif Hasani Siregar and Latiesha Firenzie Bharata;
12. West Java province: Baruno Wicaksono and Aisha Calista Permata;
13. Central Java province: Hilmi Tisna Yuwanda and Qothrunnada Azzahra Husna;
14. Special Region of Yogyakarta: Ahmad Raditya and Anggita Ayu Mahanani Hanifah;
15. East Java province: Reihan Nifan Arkana and Angelica Theona Putri;
16. Banten province: Chaysar Purnama Putra and Adzra Khairy Fadian;
17. Bali province: I Made Dwi Sathya Kurniawan and Ni Komang Gayatri Dinda Gita Arsani;
18. West Nusa Tenggara province: Maharazthu Rizqhy Ramadhana Chubuyana and Belvana Rolanda Vindia Kurniawan;
19. East Nusa Tenggara province: Atanasius Meyllano Frans Yogar and Eighteen Jeanette Hekboy;

29. Gorontalo province: Muhammad Azka Gaib and Khasyifa Anindi Sudarmanto;
30. West Sulawesi province: M. Deni Fikri and Ismi Ulfaida;
31. Maluku province: Louise Adriano Hutasoit and Cinzia Christovani Marantika;
32. North Maluku province: Haikal Khadafi H. Laode and Mardhatilla A. Putri;
33. Papua province: Johanes Matius Paulus Rumsayor and Neeltje Deliana Insjowi Werimon;
34. Southwest Papua province: Pieter Felix Paskah Yapen and Vila Delvia Nauri;
35. West Papua province: Marco Marcel Kurei and Hasna Iriani Rumbiak;
36. South Papua province: Vinsensius Renaldi Oey Yolmen and Kristina Ndiken;
37. Central Papua province: Christopher Leon Bringga Tabuni and Gladys Manuella Aibekob; and.
38. Papua Pegunungan province: Michael Marchel Winka Fakdawer and Julia Maharani Dabi.

At the conclusion of the inauguration, the Vice President, accompanied by Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, Commander of the Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) Agus Subiyanto, and Chief of the Indonesian Police (Polri) Gen.
