VP Ma’ruf Amin Distributes Santripreneur Program Aid in Bangka Belitung

Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, Tuesday (06/14), distributed Santripreneur program aid from the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) at Hidayatussalikin Modern Islamic Boarding School in Bukit Intan sub-district, Bangka Belitung provincial capital of Pangkalpinang.

Santripreneur is an entrepreneurship fostering program for Muslim students to build a new generation of Muslims who are righteous, virtuous, capable in business, and dedicated in working.

The distributed program aid includes trainings, supervision, and business capital according to the type of business and its needs.

“I hope everyone gains useful lessons, studies diligently, and is motivated in learning,” the VP said to the students.

On that occasion, the VP also inspected the boarding school’s MSME products and greeted the school management board. Hidayatussalikin Modern Islamic Boarding School has three top MSME products, namely Nusantara Sagomie, HSqua packaged water, and HS Kopi coffee that have been distributed throughout the islands of Java and Sumatra.

Continuing his working visit in the province, the VP left the school to the Social Service and Rural People’s Empowerment Agency of Bangka Belitung province to distribute social aids to the local community.

The distributed social aids include social rehabilitation attention from Ministry of Social Affairs, Zmart program aid from BAZNAS for warung (small traditional retail store) vendors, Family Hope Program (PKH), Social Cash Assistance (BLT), and staple food. (BPMI of Vice Presidential Secretariat/UN) (DH/LW)
