Vice President Ma’ruf Amin Monday (08/29) headed for Bali province to attend the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) 20 Summit and inspect venue readiness for the upcoming G20 Summit.

Onboard Air Force Boeing 737-400 aircraft, the Vice President and his spouse Ibu Wury Ma’ruf Amin departed for Bali from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta at 10.15 Western Indonesian Time.

Upon arrival at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Badung regency, the Vice President is slated to attend the 2022 SAI20 Summit at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel. Prior to the event, the Vice President is scheduled to receive a courtesy call from the SAI20 delegates.

The SAI20 Summit will be held for two days from August 29 and 30, 2022.

The conference is attended by 12 SAI member countries of the G20, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, and Turkey.

This year’s SAI20 carries two priority issues, namely Accelerating Economic Recovery and Supporting the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are in line with the theme of Indonesia’s G20 Presidency “Recover Together, Recover Stronger”.

On Tuesday (08/30), Ma’ruf is scheduled to inspect the readiness of several venues for the G20 Summit and the Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU).

To conclude the working visit, the Vice President is also scheduled to visit the Bali Bangkit exhibition for Small and Medium Enterprises (IKM) in the provincial capital of Denpasar. (BPMI of Vice Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RIF/EP)
