The Indonesian racer who was accompanied by Governor of East Java province Khofifah Indar Parawansa asked for blessing and support from the Vice President before competing in the Moto3 GP 2022 world motorcycle racing event.

“On behalf of the Government, I would like to express my appreciation to all parties, especially to Mario, who is the only Indonesian to qualify for the 2022 Moto3 Grand Prix,” said the Vice President.

He also wished for the best and supported Mario to achieve the best achievement.

“We certainly feel proud and I hope that Mario can achieve maximum achievements,” he said, while advising that Mario should continue to practice well and be disciplined in following all the rules of his coach.

“You must continue to focus and follow the instructions of the coaches in order to succeed. Once succeed, you will become the pride of our country and become an example for other racers,” Ma’ruf said to Mario.

Although Mario has become an international racer, Ma’ruf expressed hope that he will still pursue his formal education.

Furthermore, the Vice President also appreciated Mario’s parents who have provided support and motivation to their son so that he can be who he is now.

“Without the encouragement of his parents, of course Mario would not be able to achieve his achievements, so the parents’ role is extraordinary,” said the Vice President.
