Cabinet Secretariat continues to optimize cabinet management support to the President and Vice President in line with the duties and functions carried out by the institution, Deputy Cabinet Secretary (Waseskab) Fadlansyah Lubis has said.

His written statement was read by Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Cabinet Work Support  at the Coordination Meeting for the Progress of the Follow-Up on the President’s Promises  during Presidential Activities/ Work Visits for the period of 2020, Friday (19/11), at Aston Bogor  Hotel & Resory, West Java province.

“The Cabinet Secretariat, in line with the duties and functions it has, continues to strive as optimally as possible to provide cabinet management support to the President and Vice President in running the Government, supported by ministries and institutions,” Lubis said.

One of the supports given by the Cabinet Secretariat, he added, is the preparation of presidential documents, including verbatim recording of speeches, remarks, and mandates of the President at official presidential or state events as well as working visits, both at home and abroad.

“This coordination meeting is a series of business processes for the preparation of presidential documents related to verbatim recording of the President’s speech for the period of January to December 2020,” he said.

Lubis considered that this coordination meeting had a very strategic role to align with stakeholders regarding the follow-up to the realization of the promises made by the President.

Closing his remarks, he encouraged relevant stakeholders to accelerate the realization of the President’s promises.
