Gov’t Ensures Food Price Stability, Infrastructure Readiness Ahead of Eid al-Fitr

President Prabowo Subianto holds a limited cabinet meeting with several ministers from the Red and White Cabinet at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, (03/10).

In a bid to ensure that the public’s needs ahead of Eid al-Fitr are properly met so people across Indonesia can celebrate the holiday safely and comfortably, President Prabowo Subianto on Tuesday (03/10) held a limited cabinet meeting with several ministers from the Red and White Cabinet at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.

During the meeting, the Head of State reviewed the stability of staple food prices and infrastructure readiness ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.

“The meeting discussed the stability of staple food supplies and prices, the smooth distribution of logistics, and the readiness of infrastructure and public services,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said in a written statement.

According to the Cabinet Secretary, the discussion aimed to ensure that the public can celebrate Eid al-Fitr safely and comfortably.

The Head of State further emphasized the importance of coordination among ministries and institutions.

“The President underscored the importance of coordination across ministries and agencies to maintain food availability, control the prices of basic necessities, and ensure smooth distribution to various regions,” Teddy said.

Collaboration among ministries and institutions to ensure readiness in various sectors ahead of the Muslim holiday reflects the Government’s commitment and concern for the public.

“The readiness of the energy and transportation sectors, as well as support from state-owned enterprises, is also a priority for the government,” the Cabinet Secretary remarked. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RIF/AW)
