President Prabowo Has Cordial Gathering with National Figures in Warm Eid al-Fitr Celebration at Presidential Palace

State officials and national figures attended Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri celebration held by President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Saturday (03/21). The special moment not only served as a moment of cordial meeting, but it was also a moment of togetherness for the leaders in a warm Eid al-Fitr atmosphere.
The national figures attending the event were, among others, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. Their presence reflects the continuity of national leadership which remains closely connected in a family atmosphere.
Additionally, chairpersons of the state institutions and high-ranking officials of Red-and-White Cabinet also attended the meeting and enjoyed the warm atmosphere. They came to meet President Prabowo and also to celebrate Eid al-Fitr together.
President Prabowo welcomed all the state officials at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, and was accompanied by his son Didit Hediprasetyo. The President shook hands with the guests and had warm and light conversations with them.
Interestingly, the attendance at the open-house event was not mandatory for the state officials, as the President had previously given them directives about the voluntariness of such attendance. Therefore, it was their own initiative to come and meet President Prabowo, with the purpose of strengthening national ties.
This year’s Eid al-Fitr celebration has become a meaningful gathering platform for strengthening the brotherhood in maintaining harmonious relations between leaders, and for reaffirming the message that unity is the main foundation in the nation’s journey in anticipating the future.
