President Prabowo Returns Home from Australia Visit

President Prabowo returns home on Thursday (11/13) at 01.30 Western Indonesian Time, after his state visit to Australia. The President and delegates took off from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, Australia, on Wednesday evening, by Garuda Indonesia-1 aircraft.
Upon his arrival at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, President Prabowo was welcomed by Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Head of the Government Communications Agency Angga Raka Prabowo.
President Prabowo’s state visit to Australia marked Indonesia’s commitment to further strengthening its strategic partnership with Australia. The President was also impressed with the state visit agenda.
“I think this is very good. We should know that we are neighbors, and Indonesia has a will to maintain good relations with Australia. And vice versa, when we have good partnerships in various sectors, this will bring benefit for both countries and for our region,” said President Prabowo to the media in Sydney, Australia (11/12).
The state visit was an important milestone in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Australia in various sectors, including defense, economy, and stability of Indo-Pacific region. The visit marked a strong friendship between the two countries that share a mutual interest in promoting peace and prosperity in the region.
