President Prabowo Subianto Leads Virtual Meeting on Key Economic and Energy Policies

President Prabowo Subianto, Saturday (03/28), chaired a virtual limited meeting with several Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet.

The meeting, which ran from midday into the evening, focused on setting the direction and making adjustments to the Government’s strategic policies going forward, particularly in the economic and energy sectors.

In a written statement, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the President and attending the Ministers used the limited meeting to discuss national policy measures to address current conditions, with a particular focus on the economic and energy sectors.

“President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with several ministers of the Red and White Cabinet to make adjustments and set a number of key economic and energy policies,” Teddy wrote.

Furthermore, the limited meeting also functioned as a cross‑ministerial coordination forum to ensure that adopted policies remain aligned and focused, while staying responsive to evolving dynamics, including challenges in the energy sector.

Several senior officials also joined the meeting, including Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, and Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian.

Also present were Minister of Manpower Yassierli, Minister of Investment Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms Rini Widiyanti, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

The meeting also reflects the Government’s increasingly agile working style, making use of technology to speed up coordination without compromising the quality of strategic decision-making at the national level. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat)(EP/LW)
