President Jokowi Attends Prabowo-Gibran Inauguration Ceremony
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo Sunday (10/20) attended the inauguration ceremony of President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period at the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) building in Jakarta.
Welcoming President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana at the MPR Building were Vice President Ma’ruf Amin and Spouse Wury Ma’ruf Amin, Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Spouse Selvi Ananda, as well as Speaker of the MPR Ahmad Muzani and Spouse Himmatul Aliyah.
Prior to entering the meeting room, President Jokowi, Head of States, and high-official leaders attending the event held a group photo session. This moment symbolized solidarity and national unity as they welcomed a new era of leadership.
After the photo session, President Jokowi, First Lady Iriana, and all the invited guests entered the meeting room to participate in the inauguration ceremony for the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period.
