Tanggirejo Elementary School Revitalized, Bringing New Hope to 131 Students

Government starts to revitalize Tanggirejo Public Elementary School, Tegowanu district, Grobogan regency, Central Java province on Saturday (7/25). The revitalization marks a concrete action by the Government to provide a safe and appropriate learning environment for 131 students attending the school.

Juwariyah, the principal of Tanggirejo Elementary School, is grateful for the revitalization work. She expressed her gratitude to President Prabowo Subianto and all Government officials for their attention to their school.

“Alhamdulillahirobbilalamin, today the construction of Tanggirejo Elementary School has started. We thank President Prabowo Subianto and all Government officials for their quick response to the condition of our school,” said Juwariyah in her statement.

The roof damage in several classrooms has forced the school to adjust teaching and learning activities to ensure student safety. Several classes took turns using the same room and shared study spaces, while the prayer room was also used as a temporary classroom.

Juwariyah said that the revitalization has brought new hope to the entire school community, adding that a safe and comfortable learning space is crucial for students to study in peace.

“We have been working to ensure learning activities continue despite limited space. Through the commencement of this construction, we hope that the children will be able to study safely and comfortably with greater enthusiasm,” she said.

“The Presidential Secretariat and Cabinet Secretariat team have visited us since Friday, July 24, 2026, to inspect the school and coordinate with the school and the construction team. We are grateful for the swift response and the work begins today,” she said.

The revitalization is designed to address more than just the damaged roof. The work also includes repairs to classrooms and the library, replacement of damaged doors and windows, repairs to floors and ceilings, repairs to the prayer room, sanitation and toilet water supply, and improvements to the drainage and school environment.

Juwariyah hopes that the revitalization process will run smoothly so that all students and teachers will soon have better educational facilities. She also assured that the school will continue to support the construction process while ensuring the continuity of teaching and learning activities.

“This is good news for the children, teachers, and parents. I hope the construction goes smoothly and our school can become a safer and more comfortable place to learn for all students,” Juwariyah concluded.
