Arriving at Abu Dhabi, President Prabowo to Meet President MBZ

President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Presidential Flight, Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Wednesday (04/09), at around 06.30 a.m. local time. President Prabowo was welcomed by UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Ambassador to Indonesia Abdullah Salem AlDhaheri, Indonesian Ambassador to the UAE Husin Bagis, and Defense Attaché of Indonesian Embassy in Abu Dhabi Brigadier General Muhammad Irawadi.
Additionally, President Prabowo was also welcomed by a guard of honor. From the Presidential Flight, President Prabowo and his entourage proceeded to a hotel in Abu Dhabi.
In Abu Dhabi, President Prabowo will have a bilateral meeting with President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. According to the plan, the meeting will be held at the residence of President MBZ, the Qasr Al Shatie palace.
“I will visit Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, to meet President of the UAE His Excellency Muhammad bin Zayed, in order to have a discussion and exchange views on current global geopolitical and geoeconomic situation,” President Prabowo said in his press statement before his departure.
Previously, President Prabowo and a limited entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase, Jakarta, Wednesday (04/09), at around 01.05 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. In this visit, President Prabowo was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono and Cabinet Secretariat Teddy Indra Wijaya.
