President Prabowo Inaugurates Four Vice Ministers of Red-and-White Cabinet at State Palace
President Prabowo Subianto, on Thursday (15/10), inaugurated four Vice Ministers of the Red-and-White Cabinet for the remainder of the 2024–2029 period, at the State Palace in Jakarta. The appointments were based on Presidential Decree Number 42/M of 2026 on the Appointment of Vice Ministers of the Red-and-White Cabinet for the 2024–2029 period.
The President appointed two vice ministers for the Ministry of Defense, and one vice minister each for the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections.
The four officials inaugurated were:
- Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) Air Marshal Yusuf Jauhari as Vice Minister of Defense for Logistics, Defense Industry, and Technology;
- TNI General Richard Taruli Horja Tampubolon as Vice Minister of Defense for Strategy, Doctrine, and Force Development;
- Alim Setiawan Slamet as Vice Minister of Agriculture; and
- M. Maulana Bungaran as Vice Minister of Immigration and Corrections.
The inauguration ceremony took place solemnly, with the oath of office led directly by President Prabowo. The newly inaugurated vice ministers followed suit and took the oath in unison, demonstrating their commitment to carrying out the mandate and responsibilities entrusted to them.
” I pledge my allegiance to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will strictly implement all laws and regulations, in the service of the nation and the state,” said President Prabowo while dictating the oath of office.
Following the oath of office, the ceremony continued with the signing of the minutes of inauguration by the newly inaugurated vice ministers. The signing took place in the presence of President Prabowo, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, and invited guests.
The inauguration ceremony concluded with congratulations to the newly inaugurated vice ministers from President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, followed by the invited guests.
