Australian Governor-General Sam Mostyn Welcomes President Prabowo with a State Ceremony

President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto is welcomed by Australian Governor-General Sam Mostyn in a state ceremony held at Admiralty House in Sydney on Wednesday (11/12). The ceremony takes place solemnly, featuring a series of formal proceedings as a mark of high respect from the host nation to the Indonesian Head of State.

Upon his arrival at Admiralty House, President Prabowo was greeted directly by Governor-General Mostyn and Mr. Simeon Beckett. A 21-gun salute accompanied the arrival of the President and the Governor-General in the courtyard of Admiralty House. As the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, was being played, President Prabowo stood tall to receive the military honors.

Next, President Prabowo, accompanied by the Ceremony Commander, inspected the honor guard lined up neatly in the ceremonial courtyard. Following the inspection, an introduction session took place between the official delegations of both countries and the two leaders.

During the ceremony, President Prabowo is accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Djamari Chaniago, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister for Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister for Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, Minister for Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Deputy Minister of Defense Donny Ermawan, and Indonesian Ambassador to Australia Siswo Pramono.

After the introduction of each delegation, the national anthems of both countries were performed solemnly. At this moment, President Prabowo and Governor-General Mostyn were standing side by side on the ceremonial podium.

To conclude the ceremony, President Prabowo signed the official guest book at Admiralty House as a symbol of friendship and mutual respect between Indonesia and Australia. (BPMI SETPRES) (AP/LW)
