President Prabowo Subianto Tuesday (07/01) officially launched the Nutritional Provision Service Unit (SPPG) of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia as part of the 79th National Police Anniversary.
The launch underscored the National Police’s commitment to promoting efforts to enhance public well-being through nutritional support – one of the Government’s key priority programs.
“By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this morning, I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, am launching the Nutritional Provision Service Unit (SPPG) of the National Police across Indonesia. Thank you,” he said.
On that occasion, the President expressed appreciation for the National Police’s active involvement in various national strategic programs, including the provision of nutritional food to the people, underscoring that their initiative to directly promote nutritional provision is a strategic measure that secures the nation’s future.
“This is to save our children and grandchildren. This is to save the future of our nation,” he said, adding that the National Police is on the frontline of this flagship program.
The Head of State further said that the National Police also plays a pivotal role in supporting Bachelors for Indonesian Development Initiatives education program and efforts to achieve national food sovereignty.
“Our corn production is the highest in the history of the Republic of Indonesia, and much of this success was thanks to the National Police of Indonesia under the helm of Chief of the National Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo and his ranks,” he remarked. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (DH/EP)
