VP Ma’ruf Amin: Solid Cooperation is Key to Indonesia Onward Cabinet’s Success

Vice President Ma’ruf Amin expressed his appreciation to Ministers of the Indonesia Onward Cabinet for carrying out government duties led by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and himself.

“I think I am very happy because we have had good cooperation, we achieved optimal results. The public trust and satisfaction remain high,” the Vice President said in a press statement after the Plenary Cabinet Session (SKP) at the Garuda Palace, Nusantara Capital, East Kalimantan province, on Friday (09/13).

He also called on the Ministers to make reports on the achievements of the government programs and issues that need to be resolved in the future. According to him, it is necessary to ensure the continuation of current programs.

“My advice [for the Ministers] is to make a decent report of our achievements and the pending matters. Then, we give suggestions to the new government for the continuation of the programs. That is all,” said the Vice President.

The Vice President also emphasized the importance of collaboration and continuity between the current and new governments to maintain the stability and efficiency of development programs.

“We are happy, and he (President-elect Prabowo Subianto) also said that since he is part of the current government, he will support the continuity. So, the continuity process can be ensured,” the Vice President remarked. (TGH/DNS) (AW/MUR)
